Program Summary
PABS high-quality, research-based CRCT Language Arts and Math coach 1-12 programs
show progress for low achieving, limited English proficient and students with disabilities.
According to GPS standards, CRCT Coach Language Arts and Math programs are clearly
aligned to the GPS / National Standards, and continuous use leads to better study habits,
higher self esteem, increased school attendance and greater retention / promotion rate.
Students will demonstrate understanding and control for the rules of the English Language,
realizing that usage involves the appropriate application of conventions and grammar in both
written and spoken formats.
Through the use of Math Coach, students will build new mathematical knowledge through
problem solving, develop and evaluate mathematical arguments and proof. Students will be
taught how to communicate their mathematical thinking coherently and clearly to peers,
teachers and others. They will learn strategies that will help them choose wisely and avoid
common mistakes while preparing them to pass the CRCT, EOCT, GHSGT, SAT and ACT.

PABS select staff will help students be prepared for formative and summative assessments by
teaching best practices, test taking skills, strategies, critical thinking skills and the higher
order of Blooms Taxonomy. Students will learn how to manage their test materials and their
time. It has been proven that this will enable them to take ownership of their learning.
Students and parents can be assured that after being submerged in PABS / Creating
Diamond's rigorous eight weeks tutorial sessions, immediate gains will be evident based on
assessment increase.
Tutorials are 90 minute sessions twice per week or on weekends. Sessions are available to
students in grades 1 -12. Services are given at local school site, PABS / Creating Diamonds
local sites and community centers. Based on state approved guidelines, our student / teacher
ratio is 8:1. This ratio allows for personal and individual attention and has produced higher
achievement gains.
