PABS is a comprehensive (whole-listic) educational program.  The educational
component of
PABS will focus on each student's educational needs.  An educational
needs assessment will be derived from an intake evaluation and an academic report
from the student's home school.
EDUCATION
PABS will provide the
same  curriculum offered
in the regular school
programs based on the
State's Performance
Standards.  Certified
teachers will be utilized   
in the content areas of
instruction.
PABS Institutes for
Creative Learning are
non-traditional educational
resource centers designed to
work with school systems in
improving student academic
challenges and social
adjustment problems.

PABS operates as an
extension of the regular
public school.  Students
receive rewards / incentives
for attendance, academic
achievement and
overcoming academic
challenges.  Course content
is based on the State's
Performance Standards.
Students attend classes from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  
Classes are in blocks.  Examples:

  • Block One - State's Performance Standards:
    Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and
    Social Studies.
  • Block Two - Behavior Modification:
    Intervention, Prevention, Family and Home
    Modeling
  • Block Three - Special Needs: Reading,
    Speech, and Language Adjustment
  • Block Four - Art Education: Art, Art Design,
    Art Illustration, Media Production, Music,
    Photography, Computer Animation, and Video
    Game Design
